Maple Bacon Manhattan
Ingredients
- 2 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
- 1/4 oz sweet vermouth
- 1/4 oz dry vermouth
- 1/2 oz maple syrup
- Dash of bitters
- Bacon
Preparation
- Make candied bacon by placing bacon on a baking sheet. Coat in brown sugar and maple syrup and cook at 425 for 10 minutes.
- Add more syrup then bake for another 5-10 mins until crispy.
- Place ice in a mixing glass. Pour in vermouth, then whiskey, and stir.
- Strain into a cocktail glass.
- Add a dash of bitters if desired, and garnish with bacon

Known internationally as one of the bright spots of America’s current soul scene, Mile High Soul Club is a monthly party at Roxy on Broadway in Denver where resident DJs, guest DJs and live bands specialize in making the dance floor move with a quality mix of Soul, Funk, Northern Soul and R&B.
In 2012, the duo of DJ DogBoy and Tyler Jacobson became a trio with the addition of DJ Steve Cervantes. MHSC has worked with and opened for such notable acts as Nick Waterhouse, Lenny Kravitz, Charles Bradley, JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, Fred Schneider of the B-52’s, Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys and many more.
Maple Pecan Rye
Ingredients
- 2 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
- 2 dashes of Walnut bitters
- 1/2 oz Maple syrup
- 1 oz Carpano Antica
- Smoked and Candied Pecans
- Orange zest
Preparation
- Combine whiskey, Carpano, and walnut bitters into a mixing glass with 2/3 full of ice. Stir.
- Dip rim of rocks glass in maple syrup then rollin crushed smoked and candied pecans.
- Strain, pour over ice and top with zest of orange peel.

Ingredients
- 1 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
- 3/4 oz apple brandy
- 1 tsp dark maple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Preparation
- Stir all ingredients together with ice until slightly chilled but still boozy.
- Strain over fresh ice into an old-fashioned glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.

Boyhollow is an old goth that plays music for hipsters, indie-rockers, bass-heads, gays, party kids, gender-crushers, meat-heads, woo girls and even the occasional hippie. He doesn’t believe in writing bios containing a bunch of cliches about what an awesome DJ he is. He’d rather be making you dance.
He is co-founder of Lipgloss (est. 2001), Denver’s longest running and most awarded club-night. Lipgloss was instrumental in – if not arguably responsible for – creating Denver’s indie dance scene.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- Sugar cube
- Orange peel
- Lemon twist
Preparation
- In a glass add sugar cube (or simple syrup)
- Add two dashes of orange bitters.
- Add ice then pour Rye whiskey
- Take an orange peel and squeeze over match or lighter to get burnt orange essence
- Garnish with lemon twist after rubbing on the rim of glass.

Ingredients
- 2 3/4 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
- 1/2 oz dry vermouth
- 1/2 oz sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- Cherry or Lemon twist, for garnish
Preparation
- Combine the rye, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth and bitters in a shaker, add ice.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with the cherry or lemon twist and serve immediately.

Ingredients
- 2 ½ oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye Whiskey
- 6 pineapple chunks
- 4 basil leaves
- 1/4 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Agave syrup
Preparation
- Muddle basil and pineapple chunks, add lemon juice, agave and whiskey
- Shake for at least 30 secs very very hard.
- Strain over ice.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
- 1 oz filtered river water
- 3-4 new growth Pine or Fir or other Evergreen needles
- 2-3 edible wild berries
- 1 Evergreen sprig.
Preparation
- Muddle berries and new growth needles.
- Add filtered ice-cold, river water to whiskey and stir.
- Garnish with fresh Evergreen sprig.

Summer Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
- 2 oz Ginger beer
- 2 oz Club soda
- Lemon juice
- Lemon slice (or Peach if in season!)
Preparation
- Mix the Rye, ginger beer and club soda in mixing glass.
- Stir and pour over ice.
- Add a splash of lemon juice and garnish with lemon (or peach) wedge.

Celebration Rye
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
- 3/4 oz St~Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- 1/4 oz Simple syrup
- 3/4 oz Fresh lime juice
- 1 oz Fresh fuji apple juice
- 3/4 oz Champagne
Preparation
- Add all the ingredients, except the Champagne, to a shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake, and strain into a tumbler filled with fresh ice.
- Top with the Champagne and garnish with some apple cubes.
