Ingredients

Garnish

  • Flamed Orange & Picked Cherry

Glassware

  • Double Old Fashioned

Method

  1. Build in glass.
  2. Add a large rock to a double old fashioned glass and add ingredients to glass.
  3. Quick stir to combine.
  4. Flame a twist of orange above glass expressing and igniting the orange oils.
  5. Garnish with a picked cherry.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Manhattan Batch Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of Locke & Co Aspen Aged Rye
  • 187 ml of dry vermouth
  • 187 ml of sweet vermouth
  • Orange bitters
  • Cherry or orange twist

Preparation

  1. Combine Locke + Co Aspen Aged Rye, dry & sweet vermouth in a beverage dispenser or carafe
  2. Pour cocktail into glass filled with 1 large ice cube or serve up
  3. Add 2 dashes of orange bitters
  4. Garnish with a cherry or orange twist

Batched Manhattan Cocktail made with Locke + Co Aspen Aged Rye Whiskey

Celebration Rye Batch Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml or a little more than 3 cups) of Locke + Co Aspen Aged Rye
  • 1.5 cups (355 ml) of St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 1/2 cup (118 ml) of simple syrup
  • 1.5 cups (355 ml) of lime juice
  • 2 cups (473 ml) of apple juice
  • Champagne
  • slice of apple (if you have it)

Preparation

  1. Combine Locke + Co Aspen Aged Rye,  St. Germain, simple syrup, lime juice & apple juice in a beverage dispenser or carafe
  2. Pour the cocktail into highball glasses filled with ice cubes
  3. Top each individual glass with 3/4oz of Champagne
  4. Stir for 10 seconds
  5. Garnish with a slice of apple (if you have it)

Locke + Co. Distilling & Savage Bacon has teamed up to create the perfect breakfast cocktail to be enjoyed any time of day.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Step One: Infuse Savage Honey Blaze Bacon Jerky in Locke + Co Aspen Rye overnight
  2. Step Two: Add ice and all ingredients into a shaker tin and shake well
  3. Step Three: Serve over ice in a rocks glass and garnish with an Orange Twist & Savage Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1.25 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
  • 1 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • Shot of Espresso

Preparation

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients. Fill halfway with ice, then stir vigorously about a dozen times.
  2. Strain in mixture into a martini glass
  3. Garnish with 3 espresso beans

Improved Whiskey Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Locke + Co. Aspen Aged Rye
  • .25 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
  • .25 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Lemon Peel

Preparation

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients. Fill halfway with ice, then stir vigorously about a dozen times.
  2. In an old-fashioned glass with a giant ice cube strain in mixture.
  3. Wipe the rim of the glass with the lemon peel then add to the glass.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Place citrus peels and Locke + Co Rye into a glass jar, cover with top, shake and allow to sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours. Strain and reserve chilled
  2. Chill a cocktail glass by filling with ice or putting in freezer for about 5 minutes
  3. Pour the liquid ingredients into a mixing glass. Fill mixing glass 2/3 full of ice and stir until chilled, about 30 seconds
  4. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with orange twist
