Bitter Sweet Cherry Whiskey Sour Recipe

A refreshing take on a whiskey sour where bold cherry flavor meets zesty lemon and a cloudlike foam that makes every sip feel a little indulgent.

  1. Add the bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, cherry syrup, cherry bitters, and egg white to a shaker tin.
  2. Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for about 15 seconds to emulsify and foam the egg white.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well chilled (about 15–20 seconds).
  4. Double strain into a chilled glass to create a smooth, creamy foam.
  5. Allow the foam to settle briefly, then garnish with a cherry.
